The city of Mumbai has meandering gullies (by-lanes) that are full of enriching experiences.
The most uplifting is the Tapri chai, prepared in the tapris (tea-stalls) that seem to be around every corner. It’s usually served in small tea glasses, but you haven’t really enjoyed it until you pour it on an empty saucer and simply slurp.
Add two parts water(4oz) to one part milk92ooz) and bring to boil. Then add 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp(2g) of tea. Stir while it simmers for two minutes and strain.
