The cool climate, rich soil, abundant rainfall and steep terrain of Darjeeling give this high-grown tea its delicate character, muscatel (grape-like) flavour and heavenly aroma. No other place in the world can replicate this combination of natural factors. This is how Darjeeling tea got its reputation as the “champagne” of teas.
Proper Brewing
Measure 1 teaspoon of tea for each cup. Pour freshly boiled water and cover with a lid. Steep the tea for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the strength desired, and then strain. Darjeeling tea is best enjoyed without milk.
