The refreshing, brisk taste and invigorating aroma of this tea make it ideal for breakfast.
This full-bodied tea comes from the Assam valley in the North-Eastern region of India. The rich, fertile soil of this region gives this tea its strong liquor and robust flavour. The rich brown and golden-tipped leaves yield a multi-layered malty flavour that is not overpowered by milk.
Proper Brewing
Measure 1 teaspoon of tea for each cup. Pour freshly boiled water and cover with a lid. Steep the tea for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the strength desired, and then strain. Assam tea takes milk very well.
